With seventy-seven million US baby boomer’s scheduled to leave the workforce over the next 10 years, and only 41 million new workers entering it. A clear fact, the retirement of today’s baby boomers, along with increasing life spans, will sharply expand government aide cost. Therefore, forcing the government to either raise future taxes or constrain future benefits. As a result, tenths of millions of future American retirees, individuals and families will be at risk of living below their standard of living, or even worse, live in poverty themselves, which will severely effect the social and financial condition of U.S. cities and neighborhoods… Read more

Prepare to be Changed

According to the U.S. Census Bureau and Bureau of Labor Statistics, race and age demographics reality tell us that most of the next generation of U.S. workers will have to come from poor minority communities. And as the country is making this transition, the focus on preparing this population from these communities to the workforce must also change. Where it’s estimated that minorities will have to make-up over 37% of the U.S. workforce by 2020, and must represent close to 50% of the total workforce by the year 2050. Therefore, making it simply obvious, this will be the population group that will make or break our economy in the future.
