US NATIONAL TEAM

 

                      The Quest for Number One

 

 

Starting in 2012, America First or Last Movement will begin comparing US elementary and secondary test scores in math, science and literacy, and high school completion rates; as well as, post secondary results in associate, bachelor, and graduate degrees; with 64 other nation’s in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s (OECD) annual index report at each level. The mission of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) is to promote policies that will improve the economic and social well-being of people around the world.

 

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Rankings

 

Their Annual Report on Education includes 65 developed nations across OECD countries; governments are seeking policies to make education more effective while searching for additional resources to meet the increasing demand for education.

 

OECD Indicators enables countries to see themselves in the light of other countries’ performance. Their report provides a rich, comparable and up-to-date array of indicators on systems and represents the consensus of professional thinking on how to measure the current state of education internationally.

 

The indicators show who participates in education, how much is spent on it and how education systems operate. They also illustrate a wide range of educational outcomes, comparing, for example, student performance in key subject areas and the impact of education on earnings and on adults’ chances of employment.

 

                           
U.S. Educational National Team (USENT)     

                                                                        


The U.S. Educational National Team will represent the America First or Last Movement by monitoring America’s educational standards in global education. Its mission will be to conduct annual review of academic practices and policies, and promotes initiatives towards increasing standards and communicates expectations towards developing a future workforce for the quality of instruction and professional development in the 21st century global-economy.

 

This effort will include:

 

  1. Advancing  Technology Innovations in US Classrooms (via Innovation in operation systems, programming development and application design)

 

  1. Promoting A Higher Skilled US Workforce – ( by developing a national coordinated plan to prepare a retrained workforce for global competition for jobs and services in the 21st knowledge-base economy)

 

  1. Cultivate a Passion for Learning – (in the subjects of science, math and reading (Language Arts)
